WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR PERFUME NO LONGER SMELLS AS IT SHOULD AFTER USING IT FOR A WHILE?
First of all, know that this is totally normal. It is simply explained by the habit generated by a perfume that you have been wearing for years. The familiarisation of it means that you do not notice the perfume as you did during the first uses anymore.
However, do not worry, those around you will remain sensitive to your perfume.
Another solution to enhance your perfume?
Alternate and change perfume regularly to find the pleasure of perfume again and smell your favourite fragrance or simply use complementary products in the range, a cream or a "roll-on" of perfume extract for example.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PERFUME?
The perfume is more than a smell, it is an olfactory signature.
Choosing a perfume is a personal approach that is done according to your habits, your tastes or your olfactory memory.
It reflects your personality & enhances you.
- Define what you like to choose your perfume:
Choose at first your "olfactory universe" (floral, woody, oriental, hesperid, chypre, leather ...) or simply your desire of the moment.
- Give the perfume a try on your skin:
We start by spraying the perfume on a piece of paper. Do you like perfume? Try it on the inside of your wrist. Do not rub your wrists against each other, at the risk of breaking the olfactory molecules and distorting the juice...
If the charm works, resist the temptation to buy it immediately and let it sit for a few hours.
- Leave the perfume to sit:
The skin’s pH indeed varies the fragrances and plays on their hold.
Over the hours, the perfume reveals its core notes, that you can smell up to 4 hours after the vaporization, and the bottom notes, which can sometimes last several days.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR PERFUME AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, WITHOUT IT ALTERING?

WHERE AND HOW TO SPRAY PERFUME?
There are two ways to spray perfume:
- on the skin, by the pulse (wrist or neck).
The alchemy of your perfume with your skin will provide a touch of personal seduction.
- on your clothes, to preserve the integrity of the original fragrance.
But be careful, remember that some fabrics are fragile: the perfume can sometimes stain. We advise you to always perfume the inside of your clothes or their lining.

IS IT NORMAL TO FIND CERTAIN PRODUCTS FROM THE MONTALE RANGE IN ANOTHER BOTTLE COLOUR THAN THAT ON THE SITE?
To combat copies & on the request of some of our distributors, the colours of the bottles may vary. That's why you will find the Roses Musk product in a matte pink spiral bottle in Arab countries. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact an official Montale distributor or the Milan boutique!
WHAT DOES MONTALE DO IN CASE OF PURCHASE OF A POTENTIAL COUNTERFEIT ON THE INTERNET?
You can give us the details of the seller (name, place of sale, whether a store or a website) so that we can consider the measures to be taken to put an end to these acts of counterfeiting.
